OASE®(aMDEA®): Acid Gas Removal

acidgas acidgas

The technologies to remove acid gases such as CO2 and H2S are required in the plants of naturals gas processing , oil refinery , petrochemical and fertilizer etc.

OASE(aMDEA)

BASF Aktiengesellschaft of Germany has authorized TOYO to grant license and furnish a basic design package on its behalf for the OASE(aMDEA) process since 1984. The OASE(aMDEA) process is an energy efficient acid gas removal process that employs an activated MDEA solvent for CO2 absorption. The activator accelerates the rate of CO2 absorption and is considered to be a quasi-physical absorption system. TOYO has sufficient experience in the design and construction of OASE(aMDEA) CO2 removal units and has built 9 plants in Eastern Europe, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and Middle East respectively for ammonia production and natural gas sweetening. TOYO is also performing a number of optimization studies for CO2 removal in various process plants such as ammonia, natural gas sweetening, oxo-gas purification etc. These studies are not only for grassroots process plants but also for revamps that include solution swap as well.
