On December 7, 2020, the Establishment of the Japan Hydrogen Association (JH2A) was announced. Toyo Engineering Corporation (TOYO, President and CEO Haruo Nagamatsu) participates in it as a general member.
JH2A (Co-Representative: Takeshi Uchiyamada, Chairman of the Board of Directors from Toyota Motor Corporation, Takeshi Kunibe, Chairman of the Board from Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc., Akiji Makino, Chairman and CEO from Iwatani Corporation) aims early creation of a hydrogen society through the realization of social implementation projects, with a bird's-eye view of the entire supply chain. It was established by the agreement of 88 members (at the time of establishment) as a cross industry and open organization.
In the future, the working group will consider policy proposals such as proposal and coordination of hydrogen social implementation projects, investigation of creation of related funds, and basic management and operations, policy proposals on generating demand, deregulation, etc and international activities.
Under TOYO’s Mission of "Engineering for Sustainable Growth of the Global Community", we will expand its field of activities with the aim of realizing an environmentally harmonious society.
