GASTECH 2009, a major international conference and exhibition for the gas field industry, was held from 25th to 28th May in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The conference covers a wide range of areas in the gas industry such as LNG, LPG, GTL and DME and attracts the participation of a large number of people involved in the field.
More than 500 people visited TOYO's booth over four days including TOYO's clients as well as Japanese ambassador to UAE. TOYO staff led by President and CEO Yamada welcomed visitors and presented information about TOYO's project performance in GTL, DME, FPSO as well as the activities of Toyo-India, which has a local office in Abu Dhabi. Specifically, the "Sakhalin-II Project," that has been completed recently in Russia, and "Offshore GTL" that is now under development, attracted many people.
The next conference in 2011 will be hosted by the Netherlands.
