Senior Civil & Structure Engineer

Closing date; 31st May 2025

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering civil design engineering work efficiently and in a timely manner during proposal and project delivery stage.
  • To perform civil and structure design engineering work which includes;
    • To study ITB documents and develop the design basis.
    • To prepare Bill of Quantity and physical check on drawings.
    • To perform minor design calculation, drawings and report works.
  • To check and verify drawing from civil sub-contractors accordance to the guidelines or procedures.
  • To liaise with the clients on the engineering deliverables (drawings or documents) as per clients specifications.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Registered with BEM
  • At least 10 Years of working experience in Civil & Structural Design works in on-shore Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in brownfield plant.
  • Have experience leading a team.

Procurement Coordinator (Buyer)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing for suitable vendors and maintain good relationship with Vendor's PIC.
  • Coordinate with other Departments on their requisitions requirements with Vendors.
  • Nominate and finalize vendors selection to float Request for Quotation (RFQ) and monitor quotation submission.
  • Communicate with vendors for quotation submission and clarification.
  • Distribute quotation copies to Project Department and Engineering Department and report submission status to Procurement Manager.
  • Assist Procurement Manager in finalizing Vendor Selection upon receipt of quotation tabulation and evaluation from Project or Engineering Department
  • Negotiate with vendors for the best purchase conditions (i.e. price, delivery, terms, etc.)
  • Check Vendors Financial Capability.
  • Prepare and issue Purchase Order to the selected Vendors and expedite for Order Acknowledgement.
  • Liaise with Transportation Department in Tax Exemption/Local Sales Tax and logistic matters prior placing orders.
  • Assist and expedite delivery of purchased goods.
  • Liaise with QA/QC Department and Vendor on quality issues for items being purchased.
  • Liaise with Project, Engineering, QA/QC, Transportation, Construction and Account Department for Vendor Invoicing dossier and prepare Request for Payment (RFP).
  • Negotiate with Vendors for any claims, Back Charge and Warranty Dispute.
  • Manage Database related to Vendors, Cost, etc.
  • Any other responsibilities given by Department Manager in relation to Department's function.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in any Engineering discipline or Business Admin.
  • Exposure in handling procurement matters (Purchasing) locally and internationally.
  • More than 8 years working experience in the same field, preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Knowledge of basic purchase conditions, such as payment terms, delivery terms including INCOTERMS and other general purchasing terms and conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of equipment/materials to be purchased in Oil & Gas Industry and its suitable Vendors.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft (MS) Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, etc.

Expeditor

Closing date; 31st May 2025

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interface with vendors and perform expediting functions to control deliveries and resolve any issues related to it.
  • Review purchase orders for expediting requirements, review vendor's reports, report to Procurement Manager on delivery status.
  • Communicate with vendors to monitor latest status by desk expediting (i.e. e-mail, telephone, mobile application) and by shop visit.
  • Shop visit or superintend shop visit expeditors dispatched from Global Office / Expediting Agency, if required (for overseas vendors)
  • Keep the contractual delivery date of the Equipment/Materials and to prevent delays by executing the following task:
    • Obtain and review vendor's weekly / monthly progress report carefully.
    • Obtain and review Global Office / Expediting Agency's Expeditor's report carefully.
    • Monitor submission status of vendor's documents as per Vendor Documents Master Schedule (YDMS) and remind vendor for timely submission, if necessary.
    • Monitor problems and signs of troubles found in vendor's progress report in expeditor's report and/or during the shop visit and then report those to Procurement Manager.
    • Notice vendor's requests / comments stated in vendor's progress report and to inform Procurement Manager for actions.
  • Considering the latest performance of the vendor, propose additional dispatching expeditors from Global Offices or if required, from an Expediting Agency.
  • Expedite vendors to issue Request for Inspection (RFI) based on approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and trnsmit the RFI to QA/QC Department or Engineering Department upon notification by vendor.
  • Receive and read through inspector's report to comprehend the status and obstacles in inspection stage
  • Coordinates with vendors, logistic department and site/warehouse personnel for actual delivery of materials and to confirm material deliveries are achieved in accordance with established schedules.
  • Works with site/warehouse, buyers and vendors to correct deficiencies, shortages, unacceptable substitutions and other problems.
  • Issue Job Close Out Report upon project completion.
  • Any other roles and responsibilities given by Department Manager in relation to Department's function.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in any Engineering discipline or Business Administration or Diploma with relevant working experience.
  • Minimum 8 years working experience in the same field, preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Knowledge of basic purchase conditions, such as delivery terms including INCOTERMS.

Civil & Structure Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects as Lead Engineer and be responsible for the proper and timely execution of projects ensuring the Department quality management system and any project specific contractual requirements are met.
  • Performing basic and detail design for static equipment such as pressure vessel, storage tank, heat exchanger and package equipment.
  • Responsible for cost, schedule, quality, and budget control.
  • Responsible for issue of all mechanical deliverable documents such as engineering specification, mechanical datasheet, requisition, technical evaluation, engineering drawing and also reviewing vendor document.
  • Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines, project management and Client teams.
  • Participates in department meetings, project status meetings and is responsible for correct reporting of amongst other project status, progress, delays, change notices and management, lessons learned and close-out.
  • Responsible to provide information to other discipline such as loading data, construction bill of quantity, electric load and also field work instruction.
  • Responsible to perform proposals work which involve man hour and schedule estimates related to the mechanical static scope of work.
  • Provide leadership skills with ability to lead and guide Junior Engineers.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess Degree in Mechanical Engineering background from recognized university.
  • At least 7-10 years working experience in oil & gas industry as a mechanical static engineer or at least 5 years working experience in designing the pressure vessels (pressure vessels manufacturer).
  • Must have thorough knowledge of static equipment ranging from vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns and package equipment. Furnace /fired equipment and thermal rating for shell and tube heat exchanger is an advantage.
  • Had a strong technical background in an engineering contracting environment with all aspects of static equipment engineering. The understanding of the technical requirements of the project and directing others to apply this into the project is important.
  • Ability to work in teams with all levels and vendors and possess excellent interpersonal, communication/presentation and report writing skills.
  • Able to define work scope and required resource.
  • Able to operate pressure vessel design software such as PV Elite, Codecal, etc.
  • Well verse in static equipment design code and standard such as API, ASME codes and TEMA and client standard such as Petronas PTS and Shell DEP.

Senior Process Engineer

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Priority given to Malaysian nationality
  • Minimum 15 years of process engineering/design experience with Engineering Company in Oil &Gas and Petrochemical industries (Onshore). Have EPCC and FS project cycle experience
  • 7 years of experience as Lead Process
  • Familiar with international codes and standard (especially API, PTS (PETRONAS Technical Standard), SHELL DEP, etc.)
  • Having previous experience in Greenfield, Brownfield and plant modification projects
  • Able to work in team, independent as a Team Leader and possess excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Experiences in process simulation (PRO II & HYSYS), flare network simulation (FLARENET), gas radiation (FLARESIM), Heat Exchanger sizing and rating etc.
  • Knowledge in AUTOCAD is a plus
  • PC literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project as a minimum)

Job Responsibilities:

Senior Process Safety Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to undertake as Senior Process Safety Engineer, review and liaise with third part consultant, and client related to Process Safety Studies, Loss Prevention Studies as well as Fire Protection Engineering Design.
  • Responsible to undertake safety studies for some engineering deliverables.
  • Ensure the quality of third party consultant’s work and timely execution of project delivery.
  • Responsible for the Engineering, Procurement activities; also expected to provide support to Construction and Commissioning team where required.
  • Responsible to assist in proposal execution such as preparation of comprehensive and attractive technical write-up, cost and man-hour estimation.
  • Senior Process Safety Engineer Shall perform the following activities:
    • Develop Design HSE Plan, Process Safety Studies Schedule etc

  • Engineering Degree holder with Minimum ten (10) to fifteen (15) years’ experience working in Oil and Gas Industry, Petrochemical Plant with EPCC Project experience.
  • Competent user of Sound Plan, DNV PHAST/ Safeti software will be of added advantage.

Senior Mechanical (Rotating) Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute project and be responsible for the proper and timely execution in ensuring the Department quality management system and any project specific contractual requirements are met.
  • Execute basic and detail engineering for rotating and package equipment such as compressor, pump, package equipment and material handling equipment.
  • Developing mechanical deliverable documents such as engineering specification, mechanical datasheet, requisition, equipment technical bid evaluation and also reviewing vendor document.
  • Effective communication among other engineering disciplines, project management, and Client teams.
  • Provide information to other disciplines such as loading data, construction bill of quantity, electric load, and also field work instruction.

Job Requirements:

  • In depth experience and knowledge of rotating equipment ranging from compressor, pump, and turbine. Experience with package equipment such as boiler, cooling tower and material handling equipment will be added advantage.
  • Must be competent to review in-house and vendor P&ID
  • Must have experience participating on design review and safety studies with Client
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication/presentation and report writing skills.
  • Understanding in rotating equipment design code and standard such as API and ASME codes and also have experienced with Client standard such as Petronas PTS and Shell DEP.

Senior Piping Material Engineer

Job Requirements:

  • Possess Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma of Professional Degree in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Min. 10 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Excellent knowledge in international codes such as ASME 31.3, API, ASTM, BS, JIP 33, etc. Familiar with the basis of calculations stated in ASME B31.3, such as branch calculations and wall thickness calculations.
  • Familiar of preparation of piping material class, valve and piping specialty data sheets.
  • Good material database skill and experience to work in integrated material control systems (Eg. SPMat, etc) with 3D CAD software such as S3D/E3D is preferable.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review contract and bid documents, process licensor's requirements, client's requirements.

Design HSE Engineer/Technical Safety Engineer

  • Responsible to undertake as Design HSE Engineer, and as lead/senior role, when required. Responsible to review and liaise with third party consultant, and client related to Design HSE Studies, Loss Prevention Studies as well as FIre Protection Engineering Design.

Project Planner/Scheduler

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development of the fully integrated project planning from the summary schedule to the detailed schedule appropriate to the respective organizations/disciplines in accordance with the Project.
  • Shall monitor all required levels of schedule with regard to documents and materials within the established time schedule, executing close coordination with other discipline. Develop and maintain overall schedule and resources with input from others.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a Degree in any Engineering discipline.
  • At least 7 years of working experience in the same field, preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in EPCC Project Management projects would be an advantange.

Control & Instrument Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering instrument & Control design work efficiently and in a timely manner during proposal and project delivery stage.
  • Preparation of instrument datasheet, instrument list and I/O list.
  • Preparation of instrument sizing for flow element and valves.
  • Familiar with SIL methodology and implementation.
  • Preparation of control system design deliverables for DCS, ESD, mechanical package control system PLC and relay base system.
  • Preparation of loop drawings and interlock logic diagram.
  • Preparation of System Architecture, System block diagram, control narrative, etc. for control system.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering background.
  • 5-8 years' experience with at least 5 years of engineering design experience in control system design in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
  • Familiar with international codes and standard (especially IEC, ISA, etc.)
  • Able to carry out site survey in order to gain required information and/or verification of existing plant documentation.
  • Experienced in SIL study and SIL verification work.
  • Able to use SPI software.
