Toyo Engineering India Ltd (Toyo India) has bagged a third EPC-LSTK contract from Petronet LNG Ltd (PLL) for a 5 Million Metric Tons Per Annum (MMTPA) Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Regasification Terminal Project (Phase III A) at Dahej, India. With this award, Toyo India has emerged as the front-runner EPC Contractor in the LNG Regasification business in India. Toyo India as a leader of a consortium with Toyo Engineering Corporation-Japan as a partner, will undertake Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of LNG-Regasification plant on Lump sum Turnkey basis. This expansion project (from 10 MMTPA to 15 MMTPA) is scheduled to be completed in the year 2017. PLL established their first LNG receiving, storage and regasification terminal in 2004 at Dahej, with a capacity of 5 MMTPA (Phase I). PLL expanded the capacity of Dahej Terminal to 10 MMTPA (Phase II) in the year 2009.
