Toyo Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. (Toyo India) has been awarded a contract by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) of a 3.60 MMTPA Vacuum Gas Oil Hydrotreater (VGO-HDT) Unit at Panipat in the state of Haryana in India. Honeywell UOP is the technology provider for this unit.
Upon bagging this order, Toyo India has further consolidated its position as a major EPC Contractor in the Oil and Gas sector in India.
IOCL is undertaking a major expansion project at the Panipat Refinery to increase the refinery’s production capacity from 15 MMTPA to 25 MMTPA at a total investment of INR 25,600 crore.
IOCL is India’s largest government owned Oil Corporation, Toyo India is proud to extend its association with IOCL through this project in addition to the ongoing projects at IOCL’s Paradip and Barauni Refineries and multiple projects executed at various IOCL owned refineries over the years.
This contract is secured on International Competitive Bidding (ICB) basis and is scheduled for mechanical completion by Q4 FY 2024-2025.
