Toyo Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. (Toyo-I) has been awarded a contract by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) of a 2.50 MMTPA Vacuum Distillation Unit (VDU) at Vadodara in the state of Gujarat in India.
The award of this project, the 2nd Major Award to Toyo-I from IOCL in the last 6 weeks, has cemented Toyo-I as one of the major EPC Contractors in India.
IOCL Gujarat Refinery, one of the most complex refineries in India with about 40 operating units, is undergoing a major expansion to expand its production capacity from 13.7 MMTPA to 18MMTPA, in addition to building downstream petrochemical production units. The total project investment is INR 17,825 Crore
IOCL is India’s largest government owned Oil Corporation, Toyo-I is proud to extend its association with IOCL through this project in addition to the ongoing projects at IOCL’s Paradip, Panipat and Barauni Refineries and multiple projects executed at various IOCL owned refineries over the years.
This contract is secured on International Competitive Bidding (ICB) basis and is scheduled for mechanical completion by Q3 FY 2024-2025.
