TOYO-M awarded SAF FEED Contract by LOKENFeb. 20, 2024　Toyo Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd

Toyo Engineering & Construction Sdn. Bhd. (Toyo-M), a subsidiary of Toyo Engineering Corporation was awarded a FEED contract by Loken Sdn. Bhd. (LOKEN) on exploring the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in Malaysia.

Toyo-M completed the pre-FEED study on October, 2023. As we move forward, we're unwavering in our commitment to fulfilling LOKEN's mission and advancing SAF production. The award of the FEED contract highlights the trust in our abilities, motivating us to continue with even more determination.

LOKEN, a strategic move by its parent company Barium Selat Group, is undergoing a remarkable transition from the oil and gas sector to the renewable industry. Driven by ambitious aspirations, LOKEN strives to emerge as a pioneering force by developing the Carbon Cycle Complex, poised to be the first renewable complex in the Asia Pacific region. Their visionary quest commences with the establishment of a cutting-edge SAF production facility.

SAF is currently the most sustainable proposition to help decarbonize the industry and has the potential to supply international markets. This project shall be one of the most significant milestones for Toyo-M in the sustainable field.
