Toyo Engineering Korea awarded Daikin Dry Etching Gas Project in KoreaMar. 31, 2022

In June, 2021, Toyo Engineering Korea Limited (Toyo-Korea) held the EPC contract signing ceremony for Daikin Advanced Materials Korea Co., Ltd. (DAMK)’s Dry Etching Gas Plant for Semiconductor Manufacturing, which would be newly constructed in Dangjin, Korea.

This plant is the first large-scale manufacturing facility to be invested and constructed by Daikin Industries, Ltd. (parent company of DAMK) in Korea.

Prior to this EPC services, Toyo-Korea provided basic engineering and total investment cost estimation services for this new client investing in Korea, after which EPC work started in June in the same year. Toyo-Korea will provide total EPC services solution including permit support.

Toyo-Korea has been performing step-wise constructions to optimize the project schedule and striving its best efforts to provide customer-oriented service to meet the client's overall schedule and budget.

Although there have been difficulties in communication due to continued influence of the COVID-19, the EPC work has been going well based on amicable collaboration and efforts between the client and Toyo-Korea.

Toyo-Korea will be recognized as a good business partner of DAMK and develop a long-term partnership by completing this project successfully.
