Toyo Engineering Korea awarded a polishing material plant for Semiconductor in KoreaMay. 25, 2021

In September, 2020, Toyo Engineering Korea Limited (Toyo-Korea) held the EPC contract signing ceremony for a polishing material plant for Semiconductor of Showa Denko Electronics Materials (Korea) Co., Ltd. which would be newly constructed in Pyeong-taek, Korea.

This plant is a large scale of manufacturing facility to be invested and constructed by the Client, a 100% subsidiary company of Showa Denko Materials Co., Ltd (previously Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd.) in Korea.

Toyo-Korea has the opportunity to provide total EPC services solution including Basic Engineering and Permit support work for a new business partner investing in Korea.

Prior to the EPC contract, Toyo-Korea successfully performed the Basic Engineering and Total Investment Cost Estimation of this project, which provided a solid foundation for a roll-over to the EPC contract.

The contract is the result of amicable collaboration and tremendous efforts between the Client and Toyo-Korea to optimize the schedule and budget for successful materialization of the Project despite the various difficulties caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Since the Ground Breaking and Safety Prayer Ceremony in October, 2020, the project has been in progress towards the target MC (Mechanical Completion) in September, 2021 while maintaining Zero hazard and quality performance.
