Toyo Engineering Korea awarded CAP NPE FEED Project in IndonesiaFeb. 28, 2017

Toyo Engineering Korea Limited (Toyo Korea) has been awarded the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Contract for New Polyethylene Project of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (CAP). This project is the construction of Swing plant of HDPE, LLDPE and mLLDPE with total capacity of 400,000 mt/year within CAP’s existing petrochemical complex in Cilegon, Banten, Indonesia. Toyo Korea will perform FEED and estimation of Total Investment Cost for EPC of the said plant to support CAP’s budgetary planning. The plant is expected to start up in 2020 and the resulting CAP’s total production capacity for polyethylene will be increased from 336,000 mt/year to 736,000 mt/year.

Based on the long term relationship going back to the original Butadiene plant EPC project, which was completed by Toyo Korea in 2012, continuing and utmost efforts will be strived to deliver satisfaction and reliable performance for the current and future opportunities with CAP.
