Toyo Engineering Korea Limited was awarded the “Global Partnership Award” by NEGApr. 28, 2015

Toyo Engineering Korea Limited (Toyo Korea) was awarded the “Global Partnership Award” by Nippon Electric Glass Company Limited (NEG), who is Client of Electric Glass Korea Limited (EGKr), on April 21, 2015.

In June, 2013, NEG made an EPC contract EGKr No.1 Plant, which is a production facility of Flat Panel Display Glass for Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) in Paju city, Gyeonggi-do, with Toyo Korea.
Despite NEG’s demanding emphasis on strict cost saving and tight project schedule, Toyo Korea strived a holistic effort throughout the entire process of engineering, procurement and construction of the plant and was able to satisfy NEG’s requirements. In recognition of this performance, Toyo Korea made a contract the following EGKr No.2 Plant project and it has also been successfully executed. Thus, Toyo Korea was awarded “Global Partnership Award” for great contributions to business operation of NEG through successful execution of the projects.

The completion of this project within the schedule, of which even Client was unsure of the feasibility, while achieving the high quality of the plant was only possible through Toyo Korea’s unparalleled technology and thorough planning capability. Mutual trust and amicable cooperation with Client was also pivotal to the success of this project.
