Toyo Engineering Korea awarded TGPC GSU & PP Unit Project in TurkmenistanNov. 14, 2014

On October 30, 2014, Toyo Korea has been awarded a contract with Toyo Japan to build a large gas chemical complex for State Concern “Turkmengas” (Ashgabad, Turkmenistan). A consortium of Toyo Japan comprises Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd., Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., and LG International Corporation of Korea.

The complex will produce ethylene, high density polyethylene, and polypropylene from natural gas and expected total project period is 47 months.

Toyo Korea is responsible for and will perform Engineering, Procurement, Construction support and Commissioning for Gas Separation Unit (GSU, 5 billion ㎥ per year)and Polypropylene (PP, 81,000 tons per year).
