Toyo Engineering Korea Limited (CEO : Osanai Toru) became the first company in the same field of domestic plant engineering to acquire ISO 27001 on March, 29, which is a certification of the international standards of information security from BIS (British Standards Institution).
ISO 27001 is a certification of information security management system by ISO, and it is the most authorized international certification in the field of information security. And it can be acquired only after strict evaluation and verification regarding 133 items of 11 fields such as risk management, security policy, asset classification and etc.
Toyo-K has constructed overall ISMS (Information Security Management System) for the whole information of Toyo-K possesses including the information of private and customers through preparation of 6 months since Oct., 2012 for ISO 27001.
Especially, execution of awareness training all management and employees made an opportunity to share and learn the importance of information security sustainably.
Toyo-K became to equip global standards security management system and improve the stability of global security system. And because the information security is becoming a significant factor of Corporate Sustainability Management, this certification is expected to contribute to the enlargement of EPC overseas project of Toyo-K in the future.
