Toyo Engineering Korea awarded EO/EG plant ProjectOct. 23, 2012

On Oct. 09, 2012, Toyo Engineering Korea Limited (President & CEO Osanai Toru) has made an official contract after receiving LOI (Letter of Intent) for the construction of the EO / EG plant Project from Korea Petrochemical Ind. Co., Ltd. The licensor of this project is Scientific Design Inc.(SD) in the United States and SD will provide the basic design package in the scale of production, EO 80,000-ton plant with EG 94,520 tons of production capacity.

The Mechanical Completion of this plant is until May 31, 2014. In order to achieve this, Korea Petrochemical Ind. Co., Ltd. selected Scientific Design Inc.(SD) who has a lot of experience in EO/EG plant. Also, to complete the plant construction period on time, Toyo Engineering Korea Limited who has a lot of experience in the design EO/EG plant, was chosen. Toyo Engineering Korea Limited shall received the basic design data from Licensor.
And then, Toyo Engineering Korea Limited will develop those basic design data and do the detail design, equipment procurement, field engineering and construction management support for conducting business.
The Kick-off Meeting was held among three parties in the office of Licensor in New Jersey, the United States in the end of August, 2012.

This project order was based on trust between Korea Petrochemical Ind. Co., Ltd. and Toyo Engineering Korea Limited from the accumulated orders and experiences of Olefin Conversion Unit construction and BTX plant construction work.
