On March 22nd, Toyo Engineering Corporation and PT Inti Karya Persada Teknik have jointly received a notice of bidding award for a fertilizer project(KALTIM-5 Project) from the state-owned Indonesian fertilizer company, PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim) with contract amount of 577 million dollars.
At this project, Toyo Engineering Korea(President & CEO Miyashita Kenjiro) will take in charge of about 200 million dollars, that is recorded as the largest amount since foundation, as a part of consortium with work scope of FEED, Procurement, Construction supervision and Commissioning assistance.
This fertilizer plant will be constructed in the petrochemical complex at Bontang, east Kalimantan, Indonesia with a production capacity of 2,700tons per day of ammonia and 3,500 tons per day of urea for 33 months until Plant acceptance on a lump-sum turnkey basis.
